WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT LOVE

    The word looks small, it drives an individual to do things that ordinarily are impossible, the feeling is compared to been drunk. Love is just a four-letter word yet sturdy, strong and powerful. Love is life and it is also the root of greatness.

What exactly is love?

Love can be defined as an intense feeling of affection and care towards another person.

Is it all about the feeling towards the opposite sex?

  It is not restricted to the feeling towards the opposite sex, it is much more than a romantic feeling or attachment. Love rules the world, it is how we live our life with people.

 Is love the same as lust?

     Lust is defined as a feeling of strong desire, especially such a feeling driven by sexual arousal from the above definitions, it can be concluded that there is a whole lot of difference between love and lust, one of such differences is that love is not desire driven while lust is desire driven.

The first step in the journey of love is loving yourself because you need to love yourself to get anything done in this world. after you love yourself then you love people, nothing must affect your love for people, even their character should not be a yard stick, you might not be too close to some persons because of their attitudes but it is compulsory you love them. You do not love people because of what you want to get from them, you love people because it is the right thing to do.

The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love and to let it come in (Morrie Schwartz). Love unites the world and makes it a better place. To be loved is the best feeling every person adore because it makes an individual feel so important and valuable.

 

Love can also be defined as been;

Loyal: This is the act of having or demonstrating undivided and constant support for someone or something.

Open hearted: kind and generous: candidly straight forward and sincere

Valuable: having value importance or worth estimable and seeing the other person has been precious.

Enduring: This means to be durable, lasting & continuing.

The above are all characteristics of true love, when love lacks any of the above then it is questionable.

Love takes off the masks that we fear we cannot live without and know we cannot live within- James Baldwin.

Love rules the world

  Can you imagine the world with people who have no affections or feeling for one another, where no one cares about how you are faring. That is going to be a very disastrous thing to happen. In all sincerity the feeling of being loved gives a person so much excitement and confidence.

Nothing hurts like love, but it is not enough reason not to love. If you have never been hurt by love, is either because you are lonely or you are very lucky. It is imperative that you look above the hurt of love and focus on the advantages of love. One of the advantages of love is that it influences creativity and concrete thinking.

Love has no limits, it has nothing to do with your country, region, color, height, size etc. loving everyone is a must, irrespective of who they are, what they have and what they do or what they have done.
